Welcome to the Healthy Homes, Healthier Lives homepage.

Care & Repair England’s Healthy Homes, Healthier Lives initiative aimed to raise awareness of the ways in which poor or unsuitable housing can have a negative effect upon people's health and well being.

The aim of this website is to enable the sharing of information, ideas and resources by organisations interested in improving people's health through improving housing and living conditions.

A key objective is to enable front line staff in the health, social care and housing sectors to find out about the resources and home improvement services that they can call upon to help people who are living in poor or unsuitable housing.
