Checklist for Resources & Equipment

You need the following resources and equipment with you in order to run a Healthy Homes, Healthier Lives training workshop:

  • The Power Point Presentation*

Hardware

  • Lap-top computer*
  • Projector*
  • Extension lead
  • Flip chart and pens (optional)
* If this equipment is not available an overhead projector would be necessary and a major reduction in the number of slides required

Resources for participants

  • Sets of photos for exercise
  • Copies of case study and suggested answer
  • Evaluation forms (with box or envelope for participants to leave it in)
  • Packs for participants containing:
    • Useful contacts list
    • Briefing Notes
    • Home improvement agency services leaflets
    • Warm Front leaflets
Demonstration Materials

  • Key safe
  • CO2 detector
  • Copies of booklets such as 'In Good Repair'-(the self help guide from Care & Repair England) and local brochures
Miscellaneous
Contact details for venue and catering providers in case of problems
